How it works
Frequently asked questions
How is the overall percentage calculated?
Add up the marks obtained across all subjects, add up all the maximum marks, and divide: (total obtained ÷ total maximum) × 100. For example, 93 out of 110 = 84.55%.
What grade bands does this tool use?
A: 90–100%, B: 75–89.99%, C: 60–74.99%, D: 40–59.99%, F: below 40%. These are common conventions shown above; your school or board may use different bands — check their official policy for anything that matters.
Why is my row rejected?
A row is rejected if the maximum marks are zero or blank, if any value is not a number, if marks obtained are negative, or if obtained exceeds the maximum (you can't score more than the paper is worth).
