Frequently asked questions
What happens to nested objects and arrays inside the JSON?
They are flattened into the cell as a compact JSON string. For example {"tags": ["a","b"]} becomes the cell value "[\"a\",\"b\"]", still valid CSV that you can parse back later.
What if some objects are missing keys?
Missing keys simply become empty cells, so every row lines up under the same column headers — no shifting, no errors.
Why is my JSON rejected?
The most common reasons: it is not valid JSON (check commas and quotes), it is a single object instead of an array, or an array item is not an object. The error message tells you exactly which item is the problem.
