What are CGST and SGST?

On a sale within a single Indian state, GST is split equally between the Central Government (CGST) and the State Government (SGST) — each is half of the total GST shown above.

How is GST removed from a GST-inclusive price?

Choose "Remove GST": the base amount is calculated as price ÷ (1 + rate/100), and the GST amount is the difference. For example, at 18% GST, a ₹118 inclusive price breaks down to ₹100 base + ₹18 GST.
